Adult therapy
Sessions: I offer a free 15mins phone consultation which you give you an opportunity to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions. Following that sessions will be 50mins long, weekly at a mutually agreed time.
Fees: Sessions are £65.00. Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice otherwise you will incur the full fee.
Duration: The duration of therapy depends very much on the individual and you chose when you want to end counselling. You do not need to decide this from the outset, and we will review this throughout therapy at an agreed point.
All sessions, adult or child, are confidential.
Child Therapy
Counselling & Play Therapy: I offer a free 15-minute informal telephone consultation. Following that, I arrange an initial assessment with the parent/s. Sessions with the children are 50mins long weekly.
Fees: Sessions are £65*. This includes all play equipment and art materials. Parental review meetings are: £50.00 and are 50 minutes long. It is recommended we have a review every 6-8 weeks. Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice otherwise you will incur the full fee.
Duration: I recommend a minimum of 12 sessions as it takes time for a child to gain my trust and to build the therapeutic relationship.
*The fee for sessions with children at their school premises outside of Thanet is £75.00.
